One API call corresponds to one HTTP request to your LLM provider. A single user request to your app that triggers two sequential LLM calls counts as two API calls. Batch requests count per-item. Retries due to provider errors count as additional calls.

We'll notify you when you hit 80% of your monthly limit. If you exceed the limit, metric ingestion is paused (not your LLM traffic — your APIs keep running). You can upgrade at any time to restore monitoring. We don't retroactively charge overages on the Starter plan.

On cancellation, your metric data is retained for 30 days and then deleted. During that window you can export all your data via CSV or API. On downgrade from Growth to Starter, data older than 7 days becomes inaccessible but is preserved for 30 days in case you upgrade back.

No. Framewren's SDK instruments the API layer at the metadata level only. We capture token counts, model identifiers, timestamps, and response latencies. Prompt text and completion content never leave your infrastructure and are never stored by Framewren.
